******! massive blow for us....... he is the leader out on the pitch and it was no coincidence we were a far better team after he came back! If it's ligaments he's out for the season and will be very tough for him to get back to playing at this level he will have barely played football in the last couple of years by the time he's back!

            --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rowly's cavalier style of play unfortunately leaves himself wide open to injury as has happened so many times in the past.He has missed so many games over recent years through virtually self inflicted injuries as a result of enthusiastic yet at times, reckless challenges.Under the circumstances we should step up our attempts to get JayTabb if only on loan for the time being.

I am gutted Rowly might be out for ages :(
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

fingers crossed it's not too bad but thats being too hopefull, i was so looking forward to martin having a run out tonite for ireland . i was a very proud plastic paddy ,my heart sunk when i saw him on the deck in pain , waving his arm and shay given signalling to the bench he was a gonna. have a look at gio tapattoni's interview on skysports .com , he has alot of time for martin

Incredible. He's only just returned from his ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) injury. It depends if its the ACL again or just the medial ligaments. If it is the ACL and its the same one he's only just returned from then its pretty much curtains to his career, as the knee has already been reconstructed. If its ACL on the other knee thats bad enough. At age 31 with 2 ACLs and a broken leg in his career, getting back to playing top flight football is not realistic. The psychological impact of this latest injury alone would be massive, especially after he's only just returned from the last one. Unlikely as it looks I pray its only the medial ligaments which is a lot less serious. A sad day. Best of luck Rowly.

....Now confirmed that it is his ACL. The question still remains which one, worse if its the recent one but either way NOT GOOD. :(
