  • Roofe on Saturday for Leeds

Few were pushing him as a signing for us pre season but from what I saw Saturday think we have dodged a bullet never looked like he had anything about him. Looked lethargic and out of his depth

FA cup goals aside what was the attraction with him??

Looked good in the League for Oxford too. Remains to be seen whether he can make the step up, one game certainly won't confirm anything to be fair. Leeds fans should give him a bit of time to adjust.

Probably need more than one game to judge him. No idea what sort of pre season he's had. If he'd signed for us he'd be a lot fitter for starters

I'd put that more down to how well we nullified their threat than how poor they were. JFH clearly won the tactical battle over Monk.

Early days, think he will come good for Leeds. Think he will get disillusioned by the Leeds board, as will many others. Just can't see them improving their current predicament

I actually liked the look of the big black lad Viera (number 25) gave away a clumsy penalty but for me was their best player. Big, strong, could beat a man, and get a cross in. Was his debut too.

I thought the same. He looked decent so did that Sahko that came on for them. Chris Wood is awful

Full name: Ronaldo Vieira. And his twin brother is called Romario!

The most incredible thing about the kid beyond his name is that he's only 18 years old... gonna have a big future.

How many of our players looked like that at times last season. The last 2 home games against Leeds have shown them to be one of the worst teams we have played in a long time, even the likes of Bolton and Rotherham had more about them.

Said at the time that Roofe is a gamble at £3m especially to step up 2 divisions. Will more than likely prove me wrong by the end of the season but am sticking by my opinion after Sundays performance.

I expected Leeds to play like Swansea. Instead, they played like us from previous seasons - sat too deep, invited us on to them, aimless long balls straight back to us, basically headless chickens.
