Henry being the scapegoat was unjustified, although he wont set the divisions alight he does a job. Gladwin though, so far hasn't really had a decent spell for us. His yellow card and foul that should've been his second yellow was lazy and wreckless. If he gets sent off at 1-0, 50-odd mins gone.. its a different game. When on the ball he showed a trick or two but he does look out of his depth for this league and thats the truth. I really hope he turns it around I just dont think he has the ability to. This all said, I dont think him playing wide is his best position. I think he'd prefer to be behind the striker.

Dont think you can label him a Scapegoat when he was poor. Justified concern from the fans i think. What worried me was that he kep getting caught out of position when defending. Didnt seem to learn from his mistakes.
Concerns me a little that our Captain and RB being caught out by Gladwin not tracking back didnt seem to have a word with him. Against better opposition we will get punished by that as it must have been a dozen times their left back got past him and into space.
Didnt see too much of him at Swindon before we signed him, nor really when he went on loan, but of what i have seen of him here so far, he dont look up to it.

Couple of crosses looked decent, but for me all.he did was run around a bit. He's not a good player imo, and that's a shame.
Disagree about the far too early comment too. He was pony the whole of last season too.

He seemed to be singled out in some pre season games as being half tidy but as most have said I haven't seen a decent performance from this lad yet. I can see him being shipped out on loan again tbhI blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

I was at the Watford game and he was terrible there and my mates singled him out as a poor player in a strong team. I didn't think he could be worse but at least against Watford he attempted to defend in our half (albeit blocking a shot into a poor kid's face)"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. I wouldn't call him a scapegoat, just not that good from what we've seen. What is his best position? Doesn't mind putting his foot in, but is dangerous so a liability. Seems a bit lost all the time. Big guy but doesn't look like an athlete like Hall or even Caulker...now they appear to have got a lot of weight off him. Not sure what the club saw in him to bring him here.

Could have either bought Luongo with a big sell on to Spurs or had Gladwin chucked into the deal to hide some of the transfer fee in that transaction rather than give it to Spurs. Worth a roll of the dice I'm sure but a year on it's clear he isn't up to the job for me!
