I think he's understandably very nervous. Is the highest level he's ever played at and the biggest club of his career to date. He's probably desperate to do well and were not the most understanding bunch in the world. He's trying I just don't quite think he's there yet. I think there's a player in there, couple of times I've seen him show some brilliant footwork. I think given time and coaching he could do it at this level. Whether he gets the chance is another matter

Seemed to go completely missing at times for me, a few times when we broke it was Onuoaha who was further up the field than he was. For a supposed right midfield/winger he should have been sprinting to set himself free down that side but he was nowhere to be seen. Seems to me that he has a massive confidence issue, everytime something doesn't come off for him his head drops and looks like he's gonna cry instead of showing grit to try and do better the next time. Hasselbaink said that he took him off for two reasons....so we didnt end up with 10 men and that he had an injury. I think his footballing brain has pulled a hamstring

Totally agree with you Greg. There is a player in there, he's just low on confidence which will only get worse if fans get on his back. Squad player who wont start many though.

Sorry but look at shopodio on his first full league debut. That's a player who is young and raw but will make it at this level.

Gladwin isn't a scapegoat but imo a players who's currently in a league above his true potential and it shows. League 1 player imo and nothing wrong with that. Just not a first team we for a team who wants to get promoted to the prem!

Should rejoin Swindon as he tends to excel there and it's more his comfort zone!

He wasn't only subbed for being on a yellow; it was due to an ankle injury too, which probably also explains his poor game.

This. Not half as bad as some would like to make out.

He was poor yesterday but I think he has something about him. Seems low on confidence and I'm not sure what position is his best. Probably the AM role that Chery has.

Never good enough to play the number 10 role at this level. To be honest I really don't think he's good enough at all for this level of football........But then again, I said that bout Polter a year ago so what do I know! Ha ha

Seem to remember Swindon fans saying he looks bit odd and awkward on the wing but once you get used to that is effective. Way too early to write him off. Not had a run in side yet. If Jimmy happy to give some time perhaps we should. Not exactly the most patient lot!

I still remember Mark Falco's debut. Been out injured for a while, against Manure and still good booed!

With the new Frenchie, Shopido, Gladwin and Petrasso we have some options on the wing and I suspect all will be used at some point. Is a tough league.

Really, I thought he was doing an impression of Hercules in steptoe and son!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

not suggesting ability wise, but someone mentioned his stance and demeanour is similar to Chris Waddle. I actually don't think he is as bad as some make out. Give the guy some slack. There were some on here rubbishing Polter, early signs we may have something special in the BFG
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

It was me I didnīt see the match yesterday, but yes, there is a player in there. It could be that Ramsey will have to work hard with him on the training ground, his head tends to drop when things are not going his way..

Fully agree. Football fans can be a notoriously fickle breed. He's clearly low on confidence from not getting a run in the team and being loaned out a lot. He could have a couple of good games on the trot and next it will be Henry (for example) to be the "the weak link" if he has a couple of poor games. Some fans are never happy and it'll always be someone else's turn - that's how it always goes.
