Great performance. Luongo ran the show from the start. Sun is out. Time to celebrate

Gladwin shied away from the ball today, but apart from him I was very impressed. It looks like we have a proper "team". Polter, Chery and Khayati seem to get on well, the back four looked solid, Smithies reliable as always and the new boys look like they have a lot to contribute.

Just felt right didn't it? Looked like a team that was fresh and raring to go and played to a plan with a sense of purpose. I do think Leeds were pony though but I s'pose you can only play what's in front of you. Great start and hopefully a platform to build some momentum on.

Agree, dare I say very similar to the 2010-11 campaign
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

My slight worry is that the first game is always a lottery and although this match was something special and felt great, Bolton beat us 4-0 first game, Charlton beat us first game and they both dropped (not saying we will drop but it is only our first game).

I am positive for this season, think we will be there or there about (top 6) just hope that when we do slip up we don't go into melt down. Leeds were poor today, we will come across much stronger opposition and we will drop points but having said that this league is tough and all teams will have the same problem.

Play as a team ala Leicester City and anything is possible, can't wait to get back to work to face several dirty Leeds fans who were giving it large last week.

Was a great team performance, thought Mass wad immense, worked tirelessly and used the ball to good effect. Cannot fault the effort of anyone in the team today.

Points taken, but difference is we actually looked like a good team today. First time in ages we've looked fitter than the opposition and actually winning second balls. Another thing that used to drive me nuts. Corners look more dangerous, we looked like we actually had a plan, and never actually got out of third gear.

Won't all be plain sailing, but definitely looks 10 times more positive than last seasons bore fest.

Interestingly we only played with 2 out and out newbies In Bidwell and Cousins when he came on. The rest were all here in one form or another last season. Just shows the benefit of a proper pre season

I've been pretty negative lately so I'm glad the lads shut me up yesterday with a great performance. Think that was the best I've seen Henry play . Agree that we look really fit and for me that was a great move by the board getting rid of Serrant and bringing the other 2 into the backroom. Don't agree with the comment about gladwin having no ability. Fair anough he never had a great game but he's young anough to improve . Also if people watched him for Swindon they'd know there is a player there. Just having a difficult time showing it at the moment. Come on u r'sssss
