  • QPR line up loan swoop for Wigan striker Marlon King

Queens Park Rangers are plotting a loan move for Wigan misfit Marlon King.
The Jamaica international has struggled to make an impact with the Latics since sealing a big-money move from Watford last year.
    Wanted: Marlon King
King was shipped out on loan to Middlesbrough and Hull City last season and is currently behind Hugo Rodallega and Jason Scotland in Roberto Martinez's attacking options.
King is thought to be keen on returning to London in a bid to recapture the form that prompted then Latics chief Steve Bruce to spend £4m on him in January 2008.

And QPR manager Jim Magilton is keen on giving the 29-year-old a route back to the capital and is eyeing a temporary deal for the striker.
Any move is subject to the future of underfire co-owner Flavio Briatore, who could be forced to give up his stake in the club if the Football League stop him from having any involvement with their 92 registered clubs over his controversial ban from Formula One.

That sums it up. Not happening mate.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Would be good, but it says temporary, so would only do until january, then we must buy a stiker

We have 2 other major shareholders who COULD fund the deal if they wanted too.

Could but won't until this whole flavio mess is sorted out. Mittels won't risk it unless they get briatore's shares, which I don't think they will do.I can see someone outside buying out all 3.

Pity if true, as all this could mean the difference in whether or not we win promotion this season.

I quite agree stanley. King is the missing part of the jigsaw but unfortunately this flavio mess is bound to have a negative effect on the club. The football league should of made a decision but I can see this mess just dragging on.
