  • Marquee signing

As Tony Fernandes still seems to be interested in investing in us, I would like us to adapt the signing policy of Real Madrid. That would mean one marquee signing each year.
I hope we'll start this policy this season by signing one £5-8m player. Still time.

Won't happen, the new policy is very clear, around €1 million per player and any loans we can get .

        Clear to who?
Have we spent more than one million on Bidwell or Lynch or the Pole?
And what loans has JFH ever brought in?

Smithies was about 2.5 million and Washington was 3 million. We still spend but more sensibly. (Time will tell if spending 3 million on Wash was sensible)

I think it's an awful idea, we're acting like a Championship club and we are getting rid of this bad image QPR have been plastered with

I think we will spend 3-4 mill on a player if they are what we want and we think its of value to us. Just don't see us spending much more than this.

I imagine the club thought we would of got Sandro of the books by now and also received a fee for Caulker.

Can just see it now. The club sells tickets at £10 a pop to fans to come and watch the unveiling of a Marquee signing proper Real Madrid style then we all watch a Spurs youth team player walk out onto the pitch.
