It's funny because I was singing the praises of the management team earlier in the summer because let's be honest we made some astute signings defensively across midfield and defence. Let's be honest we needed it as we were far too soft last year.
It was also evident how boring and lack of creation going forward last year and since then lost both wingers so even worse off now. It was evident nearly a month and half ago we needed two wingers a creative midfielder and a striker.
We will struggle massively this season going forward and we all know we will pick up injuries too so will be even worse off. We sold fer and Phillips for today sums and shifted over 3m a year on wages yet we haven't bought one attacking player since? The management team even acknowledged this over a month ago. We either have zero money to play with or we are #### farting about with negotiations. I'm not one of these spoilt fans either I love these type of signings we have made and never liked the over spending as I had no affinity with those types of big heads. But surely if you want to do well in this league you don't throw a quarter of the season away still trying to sign players up bed them in and get them to Jimmy's level of fitness?

Come on rangers it's not rocket science let's compete and give yourselves the best chance to do well!!!

    Rangers not the only club.

It's not even rangers fault. It's the stupid transfer window dates. If that closed a week of two before the season started it would all be sorted

Apparently it is because in Europe they start the season later.

Think we should go back to how it was, buy all year round.

We should press for FLexit as soon as possible.

I totally agree with you mate. But some on here are totally happy with the idea of another two seasons of borefest #drossball and finish the seasons in nomansland.
Just hope uncle dont feel this way and pulls his finger out of his hole sharpish.

We are looking for the right players at the right price, and to stay inside FFP. That's how most of us see it.

Drossball. What a pathetic word to keep using.

The real problem isn't the transfer window, it's that every season we ship 15 players out and get another 15 in. Burnley got back up as champions because they didn't need to go out and acquire half a side. Until we get some stability and stop changing managers and players with manic regularity, we'll always be in this position. We need some of that old fashioned patience....something that disappeared with the advent of the Internet and club message boards - half a season of unconvincing performances by a manager or a player and everyone calls for their head.

                            Agreed. Like a cracked record.

And for the record, anyone can see what JFH and Les are doing, in fact an article explaining their targets and reasoning has been posted on here recently, and it's quite clear they are addressing all these issues. Just from seeing the team gel in the Watford game, you can see we're moving strongly in the right direction. A modicum of patience would go a long way for some fans.

Could not agree more the over use of word dross is becoming tiresome like being in a school play ground
