  • Positives from Watford game

We looked like a team and everyone knew their job
Cousins looks like a top player
    Defence looked organised
Smithies picked up where he left off from last season
The young kid on the left looked a decent prospect
JFH spent whole game barking out orders and was as involved in the game as the players
    Denzil is off the mark
Bidwell got up and down the pitch reminded me a bit of West Ham RB who just got injured
Caulker, who I have slated, looked lean and like a new man
We hunted in packs and it was obvious the game plan was to engage them as soon as they passed half way line
Could have been four Nil at half time

Was chuffed with how we played today that performance in championship will pick up more points then it drops

Good post, even though Onouha and Gladwin don't fill me with confidence. I wouldn't be too disappointed with that starting line up on Sunday.

Really impressed with Shodipo, proper winger and Cousins, looks like a player with have been missing for some time.

Still need a winger and striker though.
    C'Mon You Supaaaa!!

Hope JFH satarts Shopido against Leeds. Hes ready imo and will do his confidence the world of good.

Too early to start Shopido but I would like to see him on the bench and then come in the last 15 mins If we are winning. El-Khayati better start ahead of him.

            Positives for me are -

            - We only really need 1 more quality signing. Gladwin needs to be replaced and we need someone who can deliver a decent cross from the right wing. (Will Buckley please)
            - Caulker is also another massive plus point. I genuinely believe if his head is screwed on then he can be a class act at this level.
            - I think Polter will get 15 goals this year in the championship!
            - Shopidio needs to start against Leeds. Raw potential but he looks to have the maturity and class to handle it. I'd personally chuck him in for the first 2 or 3 games and see how he goes. Naser isn't the worst player to bring of the bench to replace him.

Agree play Shopido every time he got on ball he looked positive. No such thing as to early. Football is an easy game made complicated by individuals

              Give the kid his stripes

Already better than El Khayati, as goof as el khayati skill is and he does getbin the box , his end product isnt great. Shodipo got past his man or won a corner most times plus he has a better cross on him. Perfect for polter.

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Like the look of bidwell, looks an excellent signing & seems very calm & in control, not bad when we`ve robinson aswell if he ever gets back to himself!
El-khayati always seems to try too much most times instead of getting a good ball in!

Not seen this youngster but never been very impressed with el khayati. Looks 1 dimensional and we need pace some in the side

He's 19 not 9. Loads of players start out far younger, to say it's too early is bloody ridiculous

Shodipo will be a class act. He needs to learn not to take on the world on his own that will come with game time. The Polt can and will get better too. Gladwin well we need to give him a chance he was not 100% bad and he tired himself out with a lotta chasing to be replaced by Perch yes Perch as a winger he didnt do too bad ha ha.
Cant wait to see that Pole team up with Cousins. The back line dont need any comment except fantastic but who do we have partnering Hall ? nice problem !!
