Washington is a wright off imo.
I think the way we're gonna be set up, we'll probably only concede 20 or 30 goals all season. I reckon we need to get used to 0-0's and 1-0's week in, week out. Boring as hell but it might get us out of this league!

hang on, we were served this shyte up last season. Jimmy's excuse was that those were not his players. Now, he has 6-7 players of his choice and promised attacking, exspansive football.

If its more of the same #drossball, t.hen there will be questions asked

Have you seen anything from JFH, either as QPR manager or before to suggest that he is likely to play expansive, attractive football? Personally I haven't. I see a manager that likes to build from the back, likes to keep things tight and would sooner draw a game 0-0 than take any massive risks.

Obviously there will be a lot of fans that don't like it, if it indeed does turn out that way. Personally I wouldn't mind too much if it gets us to where we want to be. I'd rather win ugly than continue to underachieve!

When was the last time QPR played attacking, expansive football? 2010?

perhaps its sitting in an Office and losing half my body weight in sweat, but i really fancy Polts to have a good season.

anyone who thinks he is absolute Dross care to take my wager - I bet he scores over 12 goals - £20 to whatever charity this board tends to support?

I bet he does score over 12 goals next season.........I still think he's rubbish though.

It's a bit like that boxer, Nikolai Valuev. I thought he was rubbish but I still backed him to win pretty much every fight he was involved in. Like Polter, he was a big awkward lump, and that was enough in most fights!

I think Polter's attitude and the fact he's so awkward will make him a valuable asset next season......despite his very limited footballing ability!

so you would prefer a silky, pacey striker with great 1st touch who scores 10 a season, over the awkward polts to score 12?

I'd like both please! ha ha

Ideally you want 4 or 5 strikers in a Championship squad. 1 should be a battering ram, another should be pacey and if you want to do well, at least 1 of the others should have 20 goals in them.

All about the service for me. Yes he's limited in areas (running at defenders for example) but play to his strengths and play the ball to him in the box and he'll get goals.

Done wonders for Kane at spurs. Having Eriksen, Dembele, Alli, Chadli and Lamela behind him, he was never going to get fewer than 20. You could have played Rob Hulse up there and he'd have got at least 15

agree we do need a bit more variety up there. would stick my neck out and say 100% confident we will be bringing in least 1 striker this window.
