is this actually real or you just guessing because it helps your point.

Sever lack of pace and caught out of position...ALOT. Not up to championship standards anymore.

Not sure where in my post I was 'guessing'. I was checking out Rangers fans reactions on twitter. They were impressed by his performance.

Can't remember either of those things happening when he turned out last year. They're myths. Can't be expected to play every game at us age, sure. And hasn't the pace to play LB (but is a miles better. LB than Ned is at RB). Not the faster player, sure, but he never once got skinned for pace last year.

I'm sure they were. Good for them. And Clint.

Hill did well last night, as he always does. Admittedly Annan Athletic are not a good side (not like.the mighty Stranraer) but he did all the stuff he did well at QPR. He isn't up to the pace of the championship for a continuos period, no more, that is clear. The Scottish game is still fast and tough but probably a notch or two down on quality in general bar say the top 4 or 5 sides. He will do.a great job but I can't see him starting every game. Rangers have a good shot at the title tho I would say as they have brought in excellently. I still don't see the fascination with Kenny Miller, watched him saturday and so whiny and not any good anymore.

Clint is an extremely intelligent defender who lacks pace. He's the polar opposite of Caulker at the moment.

the beauty of football then as i saw it far too often. Hall having to put last ditch tackles in to save him. For some reason whenever it was the guy who Clint was supposed to be marking scored, no1 see's it. Is a legend, but not beyond criticism.

To be honest, that's the point of having 2 defenders. That's why Onuoha Hall Works, Onuoha/Hall Clint works, Onuoha Dunne worked. You have to have this balance of intelligence and physicality.

Any side would benefit from having Clint Hill in their side.

What he hasn't got in pace or skill, he more than makes up for in desire, organization, drive, effort and is a very good player. Never let us down.

Isn't that so, Jimmy. But some on here bang on criticising the fella. Numbnuts. Loic Remy fanboys, everyone of them, I expect.

The one thing Clint won't do is let the team down, if he is struggling he will be honest and ask to come off rather than letting the team down, as we all know.

the point of having 2 is so one can cover the guy who is caught out often....i dont think so.

Far too many people blinded by their love of Clint. Was an unbelievable signing for us and goes down as a recent club ledgend, but no where near the standard required to play at our level now.

Glad with him and Faurlin the club let head rule over heart.

Had our best defensive spell last season with Clint Hill at the heart of it.

Ridiculous how some are writing him off because of his age.

I would love that too, but not so sure Clint will want this after the way his leaving was handled
