didnt follow him too much at Hull, but would have thought if he really impressed there they would have signed him?

They better get themselves promoted this season or uncle FFP might come a knocking next year.

They'll make plenty back through sales, as well as a 50,000 gate

Why is it a mockery? They're spending within their means and parachute payments.

See if they can produce a settled side after all the transfers in and out because if they can't it doesn't matter who they sign.

Didn't we spend with in the means of what our owners could afford

not what your owners can afford, but what the costings compared to your clubs income....and no, we certainly didnt.

We did of course, but we didnt get anywhere near breaking even. Our small stadium and at the time the signings we were buying with little resale value made it tough for us. Newcastle will easily make back their cash. Already got rid of Cisse, Townsend. They want big money for Sissoko but I expect someone to take him for 20 million somewhere. Wijnaldum may well leave as well so they will probably end up having a profit at the end of the transfer window.

5 yrs seems like a long time and it also depends on how much they are paying him.

probably not. Wont complain though as i think we are probably one of the worst offenders in recent years and as of now have gone unpunished.

Of course it could still all go t1ts up for them, but Newcastle aint half assembling a blo00dy good squad. At this rate I think it would take some very brave money to back against them going straight back up.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
