This is the thing, a player who looks nervous isn't necessarily nervous. A lot of the time it's their build that just makes them look awkward on the ball. Couple of examples, Peter Crouch being the less convincing example, but he's a player who doesn't appear to be comfortable with the ball because of his frame, but you know he is. The other example is Mamadou Sakho from Liverpool, who I'd say is the most underappreciated defender in the prem. For a centre back who people say is awkward on the ball, he dribbles fantastically and his pass success is 87% as well as having played the most passes of any centre back in the league... just realise how impressive that is for a Centre back, very few in the prem are better than him on the ball and those that are will be called calm, composed and comfortable on the ball. And yet, Sakho is called clumsy and dangerous on the ball and I can't blame people for that because he does look it. He looks uncomfortable because that's his body shape, that's his frame and build and his movement.

Raheem Sterling runs like a dinosaur on crack and looks incredibly uncomfortable on a run, and yet he's faster than most in the prem. Looks will always deceive.

Why are we trying to get a Nesta when we're QPR. Different players defend differently ffs. Ned knows his weaknesses so he plays to his strengths, which are his strength, his pace, his commitment, and he does all of that well. Who cares if he does or doesn't have to make last ditch challenges as long as he makes them.
you, nor any stat will ever convince me Ned is good on the ball. my eyes and brain can tell me that and apparently the vast majority of fans feel the same way.

I'm not trying validate your opinion or change yours, I'm displaying mine and giving a bit of proof to back it up mate.

Imagine how I feel mate. Especially at the start of the season with Konchesky playing regularly

Westy has just said it's on twitter that Ned is just about to sign for Bournemouth.
I'm sure not many of us are at all bothered, but who do we go for when this happens as it's looking likely to.....Bidwell or Lynch?

Nedum Onuoha of QPR to be Bournemouth's last signing of the window.

              Heard it here first #AFCB

Let's hope so good news. Really can't be bothered to reply to Nasser, really hasn't a scooby
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

£1.7m is his current market value, with 2 years left on his contract.

That´s not much. Hmm. It could be that he will benefit from a move to them. I´m all for it.

Nah, he;s worth more than that. What's that based on?

Ned is decent but limited, getting rid of him isn't a priority yet. He's not a leader but he's basically captain by default.

I know Stanley uses Transfermarkt.co.uk and they've valued Wells at £1.7mil as well mate.
