Well he sort of does warrant it, played the most matches in our last 4 and a half years of anyone I think, been one of the top centre backs in the league this season (Ranked 4th best in the division of anyone with more than 25 starts from centre back). Not at all a liability thanks to his pace and physicality, our only captain and hopefully, he'll get the best out of the competitive nature of our defenders in trying to get a spot in the side. If he plays well, I don't want him out, don't care who has to be benched, you play your best performers and he's been one of our best.

No players warrants it. We are talking about today, not 2 or 3 years ago. He is like rick said vastly overpaid and he is a bag of nerves on the ball. Yes he has pace but a centre half needs composure which is clearly lacks. It's no fluke that his best season was alongside an organizer in dunne. We need to move him on now
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Is that your footballing instincts telling you this as a player?

His captaincy may be confirmed but where the hell's he going to play? Lynch and Hall are surely the first choice CB's, and Perch is the first choice RB. Even Caulker has a major point to prove this season. In fact I'd even play Furlong at RB ahead of Nervous. Club captain I can maybe understand, but team captain has to be playing regularly and right now I can't see that happening as he's gone down the pecking order.

Thought Lynch was the Captain at Huddersfield and Bidwell at Brentford. Both are better options.

This. Captain Nervous is fourth choice CB for me. Fifth if we'd kept Clint like we should have.

Funny how only west and Nasser rate him, probably 2 of the worst posters to assess a player in terms of ability
