It seems it's just conservative valuations.

          The same site has:

          Messi - £102.00m
          Ronaldo - £93.50m
          Neymar - £85.00m
          Suárez - £76.50m
          Bale - £68.00m

          Are those bull$hit valuations too?

I'm sure not many of us are at all bothered, but who do we go for when this happens as it's looking likely to.....Bidwell or Lynch?

Nedum Onuoha of QPR to be Bournemouth's last signing of the window.

            Heard it here first #AFCB
would all depend on the fee if i think its a good move or not. Not overloaded with CB at the moment, so would certainly need replacing, but if the fee is around 3-4 million, i imagine we could replace and still have some left over.

              yes, i would think so.

not a chance in Hell they would Sell wells for under 2 million.

It's just based on a current market valuation. We would of course place a higher valuation on him, and then the negotiation process begins.

That's why the prices you see in the media are always higher because they report the club's asking amount, and they also include bonuses and add-ons. The Pogba £100m one is a classic example. His basic market valuation is far lower.

So we would.have Caulker, Kpekawa, Lynch and Hall left as CB, pretty good cb options still as Perch can cover. Need a right back tho for sure, unless JFH wants Furlong as backup.

Yep, absolute ######. How on Earth is Gareth Bale worth less than Madrid signed him for !!!?

                        No idea.

What was the basic fee before all the myriad of add-ons?

                        • If a team bids around the 1 million mark I'd say that's acceptable. His wages off the books and still anough to find a back up defender for hall and lynch.

I would say it's bull$hjt as Pogba will be more expensive than all of them (barring maybe Messi) according to those valuations. And I'm willing to be pretty much all clubs would rather any of them 5 than Pogba.

                              • I reckon the figures ain't far off and could even be used as a bargaining tool by clubs for lesser known players/superstars like we are acquiring.
