pre-season positives

A lot had been said of what we actually need more to strenghten the team. I think the new signings will improve the team. However, there are other players within the club that may be valuable without having to spend more money on new players. Gladwin impressed me against PSV, although it seems that many here do not like him! He was energetic, tackled well and have an eye for a good pass. Shodipo is another player that may make the grade and JFH is giving him all the exposure required. And even JET may be an asset for the club, provided he stayed focused for the whole season! The additional we do require are in the striker position. None of the players we have available are able to score 20 goals a season.

shodipo looked really capable, was very impressed with his display.

back four looked like a proper unit.

ingram, needs to be our no1.

the polish lad is a younger, fully fit version of furlian. really like the look of him.

Hoping this Shodipo makes the grade, heard goods things about him. I know Steve Gallen really rated him. Rather bring this lad through and give him game time rather than signing a player like Pilkington who's career is on the slide now.

Shodip o has looked excellent, Polter scored two in two, Jet scored some fantastic goals agasint Shot, Bidwell did a good block which is the sort of defending I like to see, Robinson is getting a full pre season. Lots of positives so far. Plus Ariel has loo ked pretty good so far.

Happy with the signings so far, and most of the players we are being linked with as well.
But we need to bring in that striker that will hopefully score goals.
Not sure who that could be though.
Would maybe bring in someone and take a chance on, but also get someone in that can score goals in this league.

I expect they have high hopes for Washington as a striker this season in his first full campaign.
