Won't enjoy seeing him in a Fulham shirt if.he signs for them but he will always get a good reception from me. Top professional and more often than not a very good player for us.

I wouldn't begrudge him anything. Top pro, top attitude and top player unfortunately blighted with unthinkable bad luck with injuries that would've finished off many lesser players. It's not as if he's chosen to leave us, we didn't renew his contract so if he ends up down the road so be it. His family are settled so convenient for him and good luck to him.
Also bear in mind with 3 ACL injuries to his name there won't be many teams that would take a chance on him so I doubt he has a load of options. Anyone slating him for potentially signing for them needs to take a serious look at themselves.

Theres something not quite right with anyone who begrudges him the chance to keep his family settled and continue with his career. Would those same people put their own families welfare behind some sort of misguided loyalty to an employer who told them their services were no longer required. If the answers yes then shame on you.“He'll regret it till his dying day, if ever he lives that long”

I saw Faurlin in Chiswick with his family after the Bristol game. He was sitting outside Tamp Coffee, his son was wearing his QPR blazer and his wife was looking hot. I didn't speak to him because I had nothing to say, but what struck me on that sunny afternoon in West London was what a great life he must have. If I was in his situation Fulham would be the logical choice of club to play for. Brentford would be a desperate third choice, but you'd still take it. He's got to think about his family and where his son is growing up. I wouldn't give him hard time for signing for Fulham.

How people put their hatred of a club that doesn't even matter over the service of a genuine club hero is beyond me. I'll give him a huge round of applause on the day we play them without hesitation, bloke is the nicest guy in the sport I've ever had the pleasure of having a conversation with and he will remain a sporting inspiration to me after what he's been through. I hope that he plays a blinder of a season but they still get relegated and maybe, just maybe, he gets a chance to come back here with a full season of football under his belt (having sowed his footballing oats) and can come back here to support the squad and coach the passion he has for the club. Good luck with everything Ale."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

He had one very good season for us ,got unlucky with injuries, then picked up massive wages for a long while ( through no fault of his own ) while contributing little to the club . I dont blame him for wanting to prolong his career ,even with those mugs , why not ? But he was never a Rangers legend ,like some people on here seem to think.Rangers,Scooters ,Tunes and Trainers

Originally posted by Hitman34 View Posthaha. seriously though, I hate those toads with a PASSION. If he chooses them, then i see that as a totally disrespect to our club and us.
we looked after him when he done his leg in. gave him a charity 1 year contract last season which we, the fans lobbied uncle tony for.
theres plenty of other teams that would take him. just dont join that bloody lot.
The guy has a family, he has kids in local schools, his wife is probably settled in the area. As others have pointed out, he also has business interests here.
We made the decision to let him go. If Ale feels that a contract with Fulham is best for his career and his family then fair play to him. It's not like he's forced a move, we decided we didn't need him!Last edited by Tarbie; 11-07-2016, 09:47 AM.
