If Cardiff have approached us about signing him then its clear they want rid so i hope any fee works in our favour.

Don't care how fast or slow he can run. If he's effective which he clearly is at this level, is a grafter which by all accounts he is and contributes to us being a better team then I'm in

Dave McIntyre, as well as others, putting it out there as cardiff the ones looking to sell. Probably due to cost cutting and/or not being in the managers plans.

No different to us banding Sandro, caulker, diakite about.
They have to balance the books with ffp.
Would imagine the whole of the championship offered him , with pilkington telling his agent which of those clubs interesting him.
Hence the story about us and him gets leaked out.

Yes I have, but from I can see, it only says that Cardiff have said they want to sell him and he has been given permission to talk to the club. I really haven't seen anything to indicate we are actually interested.

just read the cardiff boards. some good and some not so good comments.

                          his positives are.....

                          gives his all

                          tricky

can play in a number of positions.

                          negatives...............

                          slow

                          not a top 6 player

                          high wages.

comes across to me as an avarage championship player. do we want another 2 years of mediocrity in this divison or should we go for a top 6 with pacy young players?
                          nsa/cia spy on this..............┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

Too much can be made of a players speed yes it an asset but here's 3 porkers not over gifted with pace , that older posters can vouch for Jan molby as good as any modern day mid fielder at controlling a game , winger John Rebertson of All conquering Forrest , and winger John Barnes to have pace is an asset but not the be all, the great players use their brain and read the game better than the run of the mill speedsters
