Not good enough for any managerial job in the UK so let's have him as England manager. Shocked, really shocked.

Nothing , but you know the world and his dog hates pulis and his style of play.
Would still rather him than Hoddle though.

Me. But I was joking. Keep forgetting to put an asterix next to jokey posts. My bad.

He's had loads of managerial offers but has turned them down. In recent years he's been more interested in establishing his football academy, as well as all his media work.

I think I would be happy with Pulis, one thing we need to do is play to our strengths as a nation, not try and play like the European big teams. Carroll should have gone, we need a target man, Bigger more imposing defenders who put their body on the line such as Shawcross and he is useful at set pieces. One thing is for sure the second goal would have been blocked had Terry been in the team. A cm who can take free kicks and corners, unsure who that would be.

I would say looking back at his record he has never really failed in managerial football, and is clearly extremely good at cup football which is all England play.

He's made his money. I don't think he has an axe to grind or anything more to prove by making such a statement. It's just his outside interests have expanded, and I can hardly blame him given the stresses and strains of modern club-football management.

Blanc, hiddink, AVB and LVG all available. If the FA is gonna go foreign again then the new man will have to be one of them.

Not being argumentative here, but can you name one other person of his young age that has managed and doesn't want to Do It anymore. Prem or otherwise. It would be a massive backwards step imo, employing a man not involved in football whatsoever and who has also been sacked from the job years ago.
