According to this article (interesting read) - 'A professional football team can expect at least 6 players per season out of a 25 man squad to suffer from a hamstring pull.'

And this article asks why there were so many hamstring injuries at Liverpool earlier this season and finds it hard to draw a conclusion; it may simply be a coincidental spike in injuries, or it may be down to a change in playing style.

If Jimmy can get the team properly fit and the training regimes and warm ups and warm downs are spot on, hamstring injuries should be minimised.

      I totally agree with you.

Problem is, les and the board dont.

We are in the market for young and hungry players from lower leagues to develop. So it seems it will be quantity over quality this season.
