Lies, damn lies and statistics, the Guardian article quoted above bemoans Warren Farm as an example of London's dwindling green space but it depends how you classify a green space. This Independent article claims 47% of London is green space http://www.independent.co.uk/environ...k-9756470.html in which case Warren Farm is hardly the loss of a significant chunk of London's greenery.

Warren Farm has been a dump even when we used it for school, it's worse now and needs a revamp big time. We'd be doing everyone a favour getting this started asap.

Lee hoos welcomes positive news on warren farm

                  http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/20...edium=referral

Judicial review on Warren Farm decision finds in favour of Ealing Council
Mr Justice Dove rejected the application for review and confirmed the council acted appropriately in granting QPR planning permission
QPR CEO Lee Hoos describes news as 'a significant hurdle we've overcome'
"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

There's an application for a footpath that has to be reviewed, apparently. Another 6 months.
