Forget their age they can still do a job as they have proved this season.
Can they though? Clint has played 13 games this season, and Ale is a time bomb, his knee could go again at any time. It's time for them both to move on unfortunately.

Well yes they can as they have done this season.

Have a check at our results with Clint at the back mate and then come back to me.

I'm not saying he is the future but he ain't half bad as back up to call upon if needed.

I take it you are relying on "the chief" to lead us to glory next year?

I noticed that Ned played every single minute of every game this season. That's some feat.

But the fact remains he has only played 13 games. Sentiment will get us nowhere. Great defender, sure, but if he can't manage a full season, it's time to go.

Surprised we didn't get relegated then, after all, Ned is a woeful player!

                  Sarcasm aside, that is impressive.

                    #### me some proper divas on here, yes it's sad to see them go and yes they are both rangers through and through and they leave with my warmest thanks and will be welcome back with open arms any time they fancy popping down the Rangers but for #### sake get a grip. Hill is 37, has only managed 13 games this season and next will be another year on already very tired legs. Will love to see him back here in a coaching capacity one day but he obviously thinks he's got more left in the tank and we want to go in a different direction. Stop living in the past and start looking towards building a team that is fresh and vibrant and mobile. It was always going to be a sad day but it doesn't mean les and Jimmy are the spawns of satan it just means the club are trying to do things differently and aging players are not going to fit into the plans.

That is an achievement, fair play to him.

Just because some people have a different opinion to you doesn't mean they are divas. This is a football forum.

My view on it is Clint hill should maybe have had another year but he hasn't so good luck to him wherever he goes.
