Very sad to see Ale move on. He was a cracking player in his day, if he'd never had injuries I think things could have gone differently for us. Been my favourite QPR for years now.

I would keep him around for another season. It's good to have some continuity, he's a great role model for the youngsters and our best midfielder, plus he isn't on stupid TF-era stupid wages.

Would have nice to see him finish his career here and potentially move into a coaching role.

I think the point being missed here as well is that we can all understand there is argument about is he a first 11 player but surely not about being good enough to be a squad player. Someone you bring on for 30 mins or play in a cup game or when injuries happen as we all know they do. He would easily be able to step in and actually offer a decent level of quality and experience.

I still believe if he was in the first 11 with the right partner he'd help push us on up the ta me next season.
Sorry to see him go but he will find another club and we will live to regret this

Only because it says that JFH wants him out and then later says the hierarchy wants him in which you can only assume JFH forms part of. Unless of course it's designed to show JFH and the board don't agree? Either way looks like JFH won the argument

Maybe Ale didn't want to be a squad player. He's still relatively young and could do a job but maybe not week in week out. Having said that he has just completed 30 games so maybe they just want to completely revamp the whole midfield.

Do we need squad players on 20 grand a week or whatever he was getting though mate? I'm pretty sure Doughty and Comley will be on much smaller wages. Don't forget we have Lee Hoos in the background dictating what can be spent and where.

If true that those 3 are going, from me it will be a thank you and goodbye.
Do not really understand the love in with Faulin,I admire his fighting spirit to even be playing again, however he looks shot after about and hour, Henry is basic and never really lets u down, and Hill is just a fantastic professional who I dearly wish was 27.

We need to move on and cut wages and squads age, I wish all 3 the best with Hill and Faulin already linked to Rotheram if Warnock gets the job.

If they do make that move, I'd consider putting money on their promotion, seems like a very similar story to ours with Warnock.

Faurlin is on around 15 k a week mate. I imagine if we had offered a 10k week basic bumped up to 15 in performance related appearances then he would of jumped at it.

This is purely a jfh decision based on how he wants to move forward. Just don't agree with it and personally don't understand it. Football is very much a squad game and it's madness to let him go imp.

He will turn up at top championship team imo. Someone like McCarthy at Ipswich will bring him in.

Yeah the one goal he scores every season could be against us.

All of them are dynamic and in combination with one of the best ball players in the division, they'd make a very well balanced midfield duo.
Even forgetting his immense footballing ability (any time players have been asked about him they call him one of the best footballers they've played with, coming from Barton and Hoilett to my recollection), his journey is nothing short of magnificent and he'd inspire so many of our young midfielders. No one but Clint can match his heart and the effort he'd put in for this club. That alone is immeasurable in a world of mercenary footballers.
As I've said on another thread, they'd better have some new up and coming Xavi 2.0 to replace him because that's the only sort of player who is good enough to take up his role.

Probably just letting my emotions get the better of me in this situation, but his ability is very unique, you don't get these sort of players. People who think Lansbury etc will replace him, they're totally different players. They'll probably succeed here, but Faurlin had something different and to see him go hurts so damn much.

Bill have a day off mate. What was wrong with that, I'm highlighting the fact that super ale only ever scores one in every thirty games.

Except that was 5 years ago when Faurlin was at his peak and injury-free, Hill was only 32 (!) and we had the best attacking midfielder ever seen in the Championship.
