I love Ale for what he has done, 7 years with us that's crazy considering all the comings and goings the past years gone by. Got through tough injuries and the club stood by him so don't be so quick to start slating the club. Pretty sure we have him a new contract when he was out for a year. Not going to cry over it he's a footballer who's earning more a week than I probably do a year. Good luck to ale wherever he goes, class act in our championship winning season.

Even keeping the fans on side it's just a stupid decision. 2 years out and we finally get a fit Faurlin again who played 30 plus games and we move him on, most likely to one of our rivals in the league.

Upset at this but completely understand why. The club have been very good to Faurlin thru all his injuries and he has been a great servant. I feel he wouldnt be getting first team football next year as many have said he isnt dynamic enough nor does he provide enough cover. He is a wonderful passer and always there and I will miss him but I am excited for the future and curious who we shall get in to replace them. I like this ruthlessness from JFH as he hasnt had a chance to build his team yet and I am. going to give him a fair chance at that before judging him further.

Our best midfield player this season
The way he's battled back is inspiring
He is still a very good player
We still have Fer/Sandro etc on the books who care nothing for the club yet the guy who loves the club gets let go.
TOZER is still there ffs
I loved watching Ale play most importantly, and I care very much about the club and the players that show commitment to the club.Last edited by Cjskinz; 09-05-2016, 11:48 AM.My old man never said be a Chelsea fan...

This reminds me of the Dunne decision last year, I accept changes need to be made, but question whether the right players are being kept. I don't believe for one second that we will have 4 better midfielders than Ale at the start of next season, so think this just weakens the squad. A great person to have around the club, who battled back from the horrible injury. A very disappointing and short sighted decision.

Some players at clubs are kept on for an extra season when they should have been gone, BZ for example, and these three have had a good whack out of QPR. We wanted young players, new ideas, so that's what we're getting. No tears from me, good memories yes. Time to move on. I'm looking forward to new stars coming in. No club gets every signing right, and we've done OK so far with most of ours.

I'm a bit torn. With my rose tinted specs on and being vary nostalgic I'd have loved him to stay on, work on his fitness and lead the Rangers to glory......BUT as others have said when you take those glasses off you'll see a player who isn't the same anymore and I suspect the only reason ale looked a cut above is because of all the dross around him. We won't know whether this is a good or bad decision until we know who the replacement/s are so let's hold off slagging off the deadly duo until we do. He's is miles past his best and we need more drive/energy and most importantly ####ing goals from midfield. Thanks for the memories ale and I sincerely hope you get a really decent club and go on to have many seasons in the game you so clearly love. You'll always be a ranger but now we MOVE ON, we have toLast edited by Greg1882; 09-05-2016, 11:56 AM.

Good player, great man but what has he done this season? Nothing of note really, we need to move forwards.
Put Faurlin around players on his level and he'll look even better. 30 plus games from him is not a bad return at all.

I never want to let my emotions get the better of me when I post something so I'm keeping my opinion short on this one. Gut-wrenching is the feeling I'd describe myself as experiencing right now. Good luck Ale, thank you for the inspiration you have given to so many people who have been taken down and didn't think they could get back up."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane
