You sure? Faurlin and Luongo have got the same, if not more assists each than Phillips this season, in about 15 games less than he has played.

Luongo has two to my recollection. Faurlin has none in open play. Kelvin none. Midfield is our problem.

        Without being pedantic:

        Luongo - Wolves (a), Rotherham (h) & (a), Huddersfield (a), Bolton (a) and Charlton (h)

Faurlins are usually from corners granted...but still creating a chance.

Midfield has been a problem from the start of this season IMO. We have created nowhere near enough chances, nor looked like doing so.

Going to need a big turnover of players in the summer if we want to implement the managers preferred style of play. Either that or he needs to use those he has in a manner which prevents them performing to a lower standard than they are capable of.

Desperately in need of a no nonsense leader at the back. Any decent team gives our defennce a right old runaround.

I'd bet we very rarely get more than 30% of our shots on target per game. Countless times I've seen us in decent positions only for a shot to balloon over the bar.

Hmmm. Can't think that the last pass for the soft as s hit Phillips goal or the self created worldly by Nassar against Charlton merits the description of assist.... Of the others only three were really created by Luongo as I recall. It's not good enough. Midfield in general, I mean, not simply Luongo.

Interesting to see how few shots Burnley get on target

Fair enough, my memory is terrible. Would be wonderful if any of the three scored a goal between them a season though.

                        This.

Also Washington wont score goals if we don't play a 4-4-2. I can pretty much guarantee that. And so far he's never been used in that system.

I hate to say this but I think Faurlin's injuries have caught up with him now and he's no longer the player he was. He got caught out too many times for my liking yesterday. We've been crying for some midfield creativity all season.

I'm also sick and tired of seeing Nedum at RB. It's starting to make me really angry, and I actually end up screaming out loud everytime he gets the ball and just passes it backwards EVERY F UCKING TIME. I'd rather Furlong was recalled than see Ned play one more game there.

Hard to believe that despite having no championship level RB to start the sesson, we are also ending with the situation having seemingly been ignored, or with people too thick to realise Nedum shouldn't be played there.

If the manager insists upon making the same errors continuously and those above cannot see it, I seriously worry about the future.

We have a couple of decent keepers.

I'd keep Robinson and Hall in defence.

A whole new midfield appears to be needed which may just go a long way to helping out Polter, Chery and Washington do what they are there to do rather than simply observe.

In case you can't tell, I'm somewhat sick of the whole farce.

Perch is much improved and even gets forward now. Don't think he needs replacing.

Largely playing LB, no? It don't help having that lazy plank of him, however.
