Why do we find it hard to score?

This is becoming an important question for us moving forward. At the risk of wrath, can we all just be honest for a second. Polter is strong but not highly skilled with the ball. Washington is young and earnest but largely unestablished as a significant goal scoring threat. If both end up being more of the same next season, the observation that we're in trouble (and in need of more, better strikers) is well-taken.

More than our midfield lacks any offensive creativity. Washington hasn't been given a chance. Not has Nasser. We badly need two top quality central midfielders, one at least with an eye for goal, one or both with the ability to play a tellIng forward pass and the ability to carry the ball....

We need someone like Ravel to be able to link with Washington as Conor runs beyond or wants to yet no one can play that ball. We also mainly really struggle away from home, at home I don't often think we won't score at all. I think again creativity and just the fact that is partially how this league is. Nasser really needs a chance and the sooner Phillips is bought from the shop window the better.

We create sod all. We desperately need a box to box midfielder with pace who can add 6 - 8 goals and we need someone who can open a defence with a pass. That's not Luongo and Faurlin, they're not good enough. Faurlin was, but is a shadow of his pre-injury self.

THIS! Faurlin and Henry with Luongo playing out of position never going to create enough chances. Got to be addressed in the summer, got to be a main priority.

Henry seemed to be playing on the right again tonight. Doesn't bode well in an attacking sense. Things were changed after we went behind but Jimmy is definitely a more conservative type manager

Warnock and Ramsey were both very conservative away from home this season. I think the aim is at worst a 0-0 then to try and nick a goal. Guess it is the type of players we have that makes us play that way.

With you on this 77, if we don't provide they can't score.

Just look at any on target shot stats for any game this season...that's your answer. Usually many more off target than on.

Agree with this fully. I mean does any of our midfield of Faurlin, Luongo or Henry ever assist a goal or ever score? I can't remember any times.

in all honesty, doesnt really bother me either way if we are "top london club" or not. I see finishing 7th to 21st as the same.
