Wife has just told me that there is some form of dispute between the train drivers or train company, which has resulted in fewer trains than usual being run from Brighton station to the ground. She was told that an absolute minimum of 1 hour before KO would be advisable if travelling that way.
This actually happened on Friday night when Fulham were in town. With no advance warning, I believe. I actually picked up 6 Brighton fans from near the station at 7:44pm, 1 minute before KO.
Whilst en route, saw loads of other fans attempting to flag down cabs to the ground. I was told that there was a problem with the trains but wasn't aware until just now, what the problem was.
I'm intending to be in the ground by 6:30 latest. Not wishing to be a doom monger, but suggest you have your final couple of beers in the ground.
Don't panic, it's nothing like in Ellerslie Road.
