  • Did anyone stand out today?

We're obviously checking players out for next season, so wanted to know from fans who attended.

They had to win, we had a new keeper and kept a clean sheet, not as bad as it seems.

From what I've heard, Luongo was rather good, better than most today. Gladwin seemed to do well when he came on but I need to see the full game before making a judgement.
"What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

Next season's players were sitting on the bench.

Don't know where you heard that about Luongo Nass, he and Faurlin doesn't work. Too many sideways and backwards passes. Ok, we keep the ball but no one gets forward and still no one picks out Chery on the run. Gladsin wasn't on long enough to judge really. A couple of runs looking for a shot on goal but very predictable. Washington came on too late and is clearly desperate to impress. El Khayati lively as always but a lot to learn. Got a right #######ing from Hill for giving the ball away late on resulting in a breakaway for Cardiff.

No true stand outs really, more a good all-round team effort, and a good away clean-sheet and point.

Individually - Clint Hill - MOTM as usual.

          Other than that:

Ingram looked decent and commanding but didn't have a great deal to do, other than one good save in 2nd half.

Henry did his job well as usual.

Might be an unpopular decision but I'd let Ale go at the end of the season. Or I'd keep him but letting him know that he is back up and if he is willing to play that part.

no1 really stood out for me. Although he dealt with everything he had to well, cant really judge Ingram on that, they just didn't test him enough.

surprised they are up and around the play off's based on that performance.

only point i would make is that Chery seemed to struggle to get on the ball again. Noticed this quite a lot in recent games and not sure he is entirely to blame.

He makes a movement to get the ball, the pass looks a little tricky, so we go sideways and repeat. Seem to do that most of the game.
