Yea get your point about that crook, but I never once got the impression he was a problem. Certainly don't remember anything on this board or others saying he was trouble either.
People forget that he was with us on play-off final day but was deemed only good enough for the bench. Same story in semis too I think, although he did make a good cameo. I think that speaks volumes for how much Harry trusted his temperament!

Yup I remember Harry's judge of character... BAE anyone?
some players can play a good game but lack consistancy,i think ravel needs to look at that part of his game if he could really do the buisness week in and week out it would certainly be great to have him hear
Core some of you love re writing history. Never caused any trouble during play offs and was actually playing with a hamstring injury hence why was dropped

Didn't know he had a hamstring injury.
Never said he caused trouble. Just said the fact he wasn't selected for the 2 biggest games of the season speaks volumes. If he was injured however I stand corrected.

Yep played tail games bandaged up
Just like Adel there is a top player in him but they both got serious mental blocks holding them back. Two talents totally wasted
I think it takes a special kind of manager to handle badboys with ability. And I'm not just thinking of NW. Bobby Robson. El Tel. Proper, classy guv'nors know to get a decent tune out of erm 'challenging' individuals. Common thread there is doing it with love and respect, it does tend to work. But you need a manager who is a) dead confident in his own ability and b) isn't threatened by crazy.

The wasted talent drives me crazy if I'm honest Wests.
Both Adel & Morisson had the world at their feet. Blessed with enough ability to go to the very top of the game. Instead they've chosen to d*ck around. It's such a shame. Can you imagine how depressed these guys are gonna be when they hit their 30's realise they can't do it any more and have wasted the last decade of their lives!
I do not want him back. He already played for bigger clubs and believe he should been succesfull there. However, he failed on three occasions and see us as patching up.

Talking about a different age of the game there though mate.
Take Paul Gascoigne for example. Unbelievable ability but absolutely daft as a brush and zero fitness. He still made it to the very top of the game. Wouldn't happen these days in my opinion. With the physical demands put on players these days somebody who drinks and eats the way that Gazza used to would get found out for sure.

Don't think it was anything to do with temperament. I think it was more he wanted your bread and butter players who would follow instructions to a tee, Mavericks don't usually obey all orders given. As it turns out ironically, one of our more trustworthy players got himself sent off (rightly).
