Boring Championship season

Great post doc and I'm with you. So many were saying relegation would not be bad thing as the championship is exciting and we would win every week but in all honesty it's a dire, boring unentertaining division with next to no quality

What rather be battling to stay in prem then this league

This. And we're missing a personality in the side. Polter is the nearest thing - he looks daft, can be brilliant or awful, but no denying he'd run through a wall for us.

I know what OP means, having nothing to play for really takes the edge off of games and makes it pretty boring at times. That said, if we want to progress as a club, I think we need such a season or maybe even 2 to settle down as a club and build something more sustainable.

As a selfish fan, I wouldn't mind being a yoyo club forever, never having a dull day

I'd take mid-table mediocrity (with the odd thrashing of Brentford) over losing every week all day long !
