I haven't attacked you without being on the receiving end of your diatribe first. I didn't know you'd been PM'd when I posted my response above to yet another personal attack on me from you.

To be honest, I was also considering letting bygones by bygones as well, for the sake of the board, and because I'm really not a fan of discord, but then I came online and saw your post in this thread and I saw red. Don't you think that's reasonable? If someone was continually having a pop at you, even after they'd said they thought what Stan had posted was 'wise words' (your response), what would you do? The thing is, I don't know you personally and you don't know me, but I feel personally attacked by you to an unwarranted degree and it's not right mate. The previous thread where you took it upon yourself to lay into me was based on a post I'd made which had nothing to do with you. All this comes down to one post I made where I accused you of taking an anti-JFH stance. You could have corrected me, but instead you launched into a full-blown, foul-mouthed attack, for which you got a 7 day ban Clearly you've come back with a simmering desire to keep on having a go.

However, life's to short. You know what. Sod it. Let bygones be bygones. If you're prepared to shake hands and say let's move on. let's move on. I really don't have time for this and I'm sure the rest of the board doesn't either.

I really have no burning nor simmering desire to engage with you in any way, tbh. I sucked up the ban. It probably did me a favour. I too know nothing about you other than assume your first name probably isn't Edwin. But, even if I'm no John Proctor, I continue to take great exception to people who misrepresent my opinions. It's dumb of me to do so, presenting ourselves behind avatars, as we do, but there we are. Even, if it's nothing to do with me, I dislike seeing the opinions of others misrepresented. Being a Jimmy- critic- who- thinks- we're- poor- and- sometimes- c rap- and- hopes- things- will- improve doesn't make me anti- Jimmy or a 'JFH hater'. For some reason you persistently elide the two opinions. I can't think why you do that. Speaking of attacks to any degree, warranted or not, should you have thrown a couple of swear words into your previous post about me, you, in justice, would have received a seven day ban. I can't help but think their are sometimes some double standards. We all, for whatever reason, 'see red' sometimes.....

when i was a youngster on here i was told to go back to supporting chelsea by another poster , there is no worse insult to me. i remember i was raging for ages . but eventually let it it go .i love this site and long may it continue but it does need characters like facto who i've always found bright and witty . i've found the warnock and JFH threads boring of late but then again i don't have to add to or read them .... a big thanks to all the chaps that make the forum happen

I agree the forum misses the characters but I'm happy there is no facto. He was just attention seeker who was up himself and lot on here was suckered to his BS. I think it's just coz people getting tired of having their opinion and instead of people disagreeing with their point, they just get insulted instead. These people can't hold a convo or a debate so have to resort to insults which is fine coz you get them everywhere but there seems to be an overload of them on here
