I would really hate that to be the case if it were true, because it undermines free-speech, which for me is one of our most precious and important values. If R's fans feel the need to criticise the club or the manager via this board then that is 100% their right to do so and I would always defend that right.

Yes, of course we are all QPR fans but in no way should that ever mean we feel pressured into not speaking critically about our club if we feel justified in doing so. For me that is the entire purpose of healthy debate and for having these forums.

I wish it wasn't, Stan, but I really think that's the case. But it's the misrepresentation of one's opinion that's the killer. Using me as an example I'm a Jimmy- critic- who- wants- Jimmy- to- do- well, but I'm told, by the same few people, one of whom is a mod, that I'm a Jimmy- hater. I can take care of myself (and take my first ever ban in five years for intemperately reacting to provocation), but it's killing the board.

Get stans response but I think there is a place for him even if the mods have to keep him on a tight leash.

Personally I wouldn't have a problem with him being on pre-moderation but the 10 mods/admin would require a consensus for such a decision.

I took a long break from this forum, posting or reading, but on my return there was a noticeable gap left by Factomondo. Didnt always agree with his views, but he was an important regular on here. Missed whatever it was that caused the ban, but it must have been serious when even Shania is now bashing him. Sad to see.

Also a similar situation with Hitman. He might have been negative at times (ok, all of the time) but he was a good egg. Dont recall him losing his rag with anyone, even under intense criticism from others.

Maybe a ban amnesty is needed. Clean slate for all.

agree mate. Still decent posters but the characters that drive some threads and kept people coming back are gone

Mods could do a lot worse then allowing facto another chance. He came back recently and was good as gold as I could see but when he got rumbled was banned again I guess.

Seriously mods try to allow characters like facto back was one of best posters

Why are so many of the founding posters or at least b contributors who help to make this forumn being banned.

The op is 100% right in the fact this place is so quiet atm. It's quite clear now that to many of the people that made this such a good site have left and the ones that remained are being banned.
