Ed is correct, plus the fact that traffic is down on every R's forum, not just here, since the rise of twitter etc which I can't stand personally due to the character limit - and for that reason there'll always be a demand for proper forums such as this.

I raised a thread on this last week it's true it is really quiet.. People need to post if they are happy or unhappy that it what makes a forum...you can't just have a forum with all people with th same view...mods I think that you should encourage as many posters as possible otherwise we will become exstinct..
We all have the same objective ...success for rangers.
Can we not sensor Factos posts before they hit the thread like you do with swearing
He will also bring many posters with him and many new threads exactly what we need...isn't he the highest poster ever.
Also think a forum not just st for rangers is a good idea to boost things maybe.
3 threads an evening is not where we ALL want to be pro rangers or not.

things get missed when moved to other sections , for example i thought there would be more input on the west paddock incident, ok bar someone for fighting but is it right to then sell his ST's and keep the money

Whilst some people like to have discussions the majority don't, what they like is a few words that gets to as many people as possible.

The other thing about twitter is that you can quote directly to the person and know it will be seen by them. On a forum like this which is restricted to QPR fans only, the person you are quoting may never read it. You don't know who's behind the username?

A forum is better for those who like communities and like to express their opinions, as a community we as a site have donated money to QPR charities, given away prizes from the club shop and next year, we've purchased two season tickets to give away as two match day tickets for home games only. You wouldn't be able to do things like that on twitter, it's also open to more abuse as it's not moderated. There's lots of adult content and swearing which children can see on twitter, at least we forums have control over that.

Forums will always have a place even if it's small, however everything has a limit and soon twitter will also suffer when something new comes along.

Speaking of great posters, Hitman is very much missed. He was put on pre mod and, I assume, banned. The place is the poorer without him. A very, very funny fella with many on here enjoying his posts. He is the grit in the oyster places like this desperately need. The odd fight is the price well worth paying here to get us all going. There is, in my opinion, a very small Puritan element on here who broke no criticism of the team or the club, especially of Jimmy, and who misrepresent many others on here. That takes its toll. I haven't felt like posting, but still read, and have thought I ought leave. I'm sure others feel the same. It only takes a few to flee for others to notice.

When that happens, you unsurprisingly tend to want to leave.... Hitman is much missed. By many, I am sure. People like him start and extend conversations which other join in on. That raises traffic. Having the same three posters endlessly agree with each other that the future is so bright with Jimmy etc etc, makes for a dull board. For what it is worth I was apparently, I was inadvertently told, considered for pre moderation. I would have considered that unfair and wholly unconscionable and I should immediately have left the board. I'm saddened, but not surprised that others have done so.

Can't judge that. I can only judge by those who participate in- not read- posts on here. I have never once said anything, either positive or negative, about Factomundo, so I have no idea why you misrepresent me in the way that you do. This misrepresentation of posters is half the problem, frankly.

And so we are where we are....... Or, as I find myself thinking, this forum is where it is. Without being precious, I consider the fact that I was proposed for pre moderation to be a reason to stop posting. Even if I continue to value the comradeship of many who remain on here. And I happily sucked up a one week ban for responding intemperately to a provocateur who misrepresents people and endlessly strives to shut down debate on here.

I think facto added more then he took out if you get me. Yes could say the odd thing close to the bone but then so can I and I'm still about. Get stans response but I think there is a place for him even if the mods have to keep him on a tight leash. Hes WATRB Donald Trump he perhaps says out loud what others just think. Is their a place for that on the forum suppose that's down to mods etc but as a BME poster I think I'm in a position to judge if he's been racist etc and hand on heart it's not something I would tar him with. He's decent poster in my humble opinion

I would really hate that to be the case if it were true, because it undermines free-speech, which for me is one of our most precious and important values. If R's fans feel the need to criticise the club or the manager via this board then that is 100% their right to do so and I would always defend that right.

Yes, of course we are all QPR fans but in no way should that ever mean we feel pressured into not speaking critically about our club if we feel justified in doing so. For me that is the entire purpose of healthy debate and for having these forums.
