but anyway, back to the question. Sad truth is i cant see a manager (whether warnock, JFH or any other) being in charge for 5 years. Just not how football works these-days and with the size of club we are, along with position, anyone who works wonders will move on, anyone who doesn't progress enough will be sacked. No dig at TF or the club at all, is just the way football is nowadays.
i dont think we had the quality of player in the club this season to reach play offs (im talking post Fer,Austin and others), so didnt matter if NW stayed on, i cant see we would have got there. Based on my opinion of that, JFH was the better option as he is certainly a more long term appointment.
Fair play to NW for his job at Rotherham, but couldn't really care less in all honesty.
Everyone can see JFH work is starting to pay off and long may it continue. Feel with a couple of shrewd signings in the summer, we could challenge for a play off spot.
