Has your views changed about the club and where do you see QPR in the next 5 seasons?
Let's make it interesting as some will hijack the thread so I'll give you under two managers, one is a "what if"?
With JFH?
Slow start and but we had no other choice and the hard work is paying off, we had to stop conceding two or more goals each match and JFH has done that. Next year will depend on the players heading out and the budget provided to spend. I think pre-season will be key to a great start so early transfers will be good. I feel we should be at least top 6 next season. We'll either be in the EPL or be a top 6 team most years. I can no longer see a bottom half championship team with JFH.
What if NW had taken over instead, where do you think the club would've been in 5 years time?
Love the bloke and so glad I was away at Reading to say my goodbye to him, but I felt we needed someone to come in long term as the short fix didn't seem to work for us. I'm really happy with the direction the club is heading and the buzz we lost has started to make a come back.
I think Neil would've left after a year or two, we wouldn't have gone up this year regardless and if we had we'd be back down in a flash. 5 years from now if taken that route, I think we'd still be in the Championship, gone up and come back down. We'd still need a change of manager again within the 5 years if taken this route.
I believe for the future of the club we made the correct decision.
