Adel's pass and Routledge's winner against Cov. Sheer, total quality. Great memories!

Superb shout Joy and I would say the Furs one of my favourite ever players

Dexter was treated bad by the club and think he was decent player for us wish he stayed instead of being flogged

I loved Adel in champ an absolute joy to watch loved him to bits wish he maintained that level as how it ended up I felt like a cheated lover. Went from loving him to despising him. What a waste of a talent and a career which is now over as a few on here predicted.

Adel is a very special talent that only comes along every now and then. Football was just natural to him, the geeza hardly trained and still won us games single handedly. Very annoying he's turned out as a waster. Shows how good adel actually is, fergie has said that Ravel is the best player he's ever seen at United talent wise and Adel is the better player.

Chris Day is mentioned in the list above. From time to time, I think of him and have to wonder how good he could have been. A sad story.

Why was it a sad story?

Try to make your best 11 from that generation of players -

                I'd opt for this atm

                Day

                Orr shittu hill Padula

                Derry bircham

                Langley Adel cook

                Austin

                Bench

                Rowlands
                Wardely
                Connolly
                Helguson
                Buszacky
                Gallen

Bloody hard to name the best 11...

Because, I actually think he was a very good goalkeeper, but, he did his knee and never fully recovered. Not sure against who. Maybe, it was in training or something.

John Spencer, Gavin Peacock, Trevor Sinclair all played in the second tier.

Yeah daisy was class. Just didn't really get the comment as he's played over 300 games since leaving Rangers all be it at a lower level. Loved the blue hair, that team were properly together
