All those overpaid managers couldn't do what JFH has done in a few games.
What I'm trying to say is that "He can say what he likes".

It's not even an excuse, it's a statement of fact. We went there expecting (as we should have expected) to be playing against a team favouring two strikers. Nothing wrong with that,
Perhaps JFH can do something similar next game and start with Polter and Washington.

Even if you can't adapt before the kick off, you should be able change formation in situ. Mourinho for exmple was a master at responding to opposition set up changes as they happened and while I don't expect that level of game reading from JFH, I do expect him to have the competence to change things accordingly at some point between being handed the team sheet and (say) half time.
If a draw at Leeds (recently beaten by NW's mob) is what we aspire to these days (as some in this thread maintain), I don't think that's a ringing endorsement of the situation.

I'm sure Burnley, Hull and Cardiff would have been grateful of a point there if they could have got one.

They've lost heavily in some Yorkshire derbies, just as we have West London ones. So it's a difficult one to compare our result against them to say a Rotherham/Huddersfield. Would have been nice to get a win there, but a points still a lot better there than the draw we got at Bolton.
