How the assistant ref could even claim to see that the whole ball went out of play from where he stood is unbelievable. He would have needed xray vision. And even then got it so wrong.

He had a decent enough game Friday, I like him more and more by the game. Gives his all.

Same as Mate.... I gave him a fair amount of stick when he first came here, but hands up and I got to admit he's very qickly becoming my favourite player. Not jumping on any sort of Polter band wagon or anything, but love his passion/ the way he gives 1000 every week. Ok not the most gifted/tallented player but everytime he gets the ball I cant help but think somthing could happen.

Why did you bother saying that? Just for the sake of being annoying and snarky? Done it a few times in a short period of time and you come across rather troll-like.

Like others, not sure where this 'poor 1st touch' comes from? Maybe he was a little nervous to begin with, a new country and new team mates? Yes, I've seen him let the ball get away from him once or twice, but I've also seen him receive passes drilled at him in difficult circumstances and kill them stone dead. I can only see him improving as he gains confidence, and could end up as a cult hero.
