think playing a more adventurous style helps
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

I've backed him since day one. And well done the board on trusting Les and bringing him in. Also I've seen the talk of evil Les die down now since players he has brought in Smithies, Polter, Chery, Luongo, Hall, Perch all proving to be very shrewd signings. The future looks positive with Les and JFH leading us. Roll on the summer and next season.

Always thought it was a fantastic appointment.

Unfortunately, some will just have to get used to the fact that building for the future and over the longer term takes a little while. Whichever club you are at.

No doubt there are managers who would have had better results so far. But they would be no further forward in implementing the necessary changes by the time next season starts. Under JFH, I think we will be well down that road.

Pisssed off with watrb. I used to spend a lot of time posting on here but mostly I just occasionally read now. The main reason is that when the football goes south, so does this forum. It got to the point where just about every thread was a ##### about the club and the people that were trying their best to make it a success. Blame was levelled at just about anybody from TF to the janitor and, if you posted something and actually tried to enter into a debate, you were immediately pigeon-holed as a realist or a happy-clapper. Not my idea of fun I'm afraid.

Back on topic, I like JFH and have always thought that he could do well for us. It still remains to be seen whether he can, but it's looking promising at the moment.

It was like some posters who dominated the threads in the cple of years before the present time actually got a buzz about our misfortunes-wanted us to suffer to prove their point of view. same people thought it was a les/old boy school take over....hope they watch with interest!!

Yep. I find it difficult to understand some of the apparent joy that some take in slating the club that they are supposed to support. By all means complain and criticise where it's warranted but slinging blame about based upon assumptions and derailing every thread with the same old vindictive comments just gets tiresome.

I agree with all of this. It has been a challenge for moderators to deal with it, as it does need to be balanced up with the free-speech argument. However we're all well aware and doing our best to stay on top of it by placing persistent offenders or the obvious trolls under pre-moderation, whereby their posts are cleared by one of us before being allowed through to the forum. The last thing we want is for long-standing decent posters to feel driven away by a small group of people intent on sabotaging and stifling reasoned debate. The whole 'happy-clapper/realist' terminology is a straw man and therefore doesn't apply because they are totally inaccurate descriptions.

I think the reason nobody is posting is because nothing else is going to happen this season. We're not going up or down. JFK is trying out players to decide who he is going to keep for next season. Yesterday's game was of no significance. Preston is not a team we really care about one way or another.

I think you guys do a decent job so keep it up. But losing posters like Facto has resulted in slight decline. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but he kept the board lively introduced different discussions and when he wanted too could have a b loody good debate about the footie too. In the build up to the play offs against Wigan and Derby he was whipping us all up. There is a place for him on the forum in my opinion as he adds something he's the Donald Trump of WATRB

That aside you Kev etc etc do superb job

For sure Facto is a big miss for me , he's gone which proves the small minded minority that would cross the road to be offended get their way which has become the norm in the sanitized pc world

I also had positive feelings about him and was committed to give him enough time.
Some moderators I think are too quick to form a confrontation with other posters, particularly Kirill and Hubble. The former of course is not moderating anymore.

On the theme of the o/p yeah I would say JFH has changed my opinion at 1st I thought yep another cheapo by L F but was grateful as for me it was a case of anybody but Ramsey , after a couple of games I thought yeah he's got something but now see him as L Fs best signing for the very reason if we had stuck with Ramsey Chery Polter and most certainly perch would still be t0ssing about doing nothing
