  • Kranjcar to New York Cosmos

The New York Cosmos, an NASL club (second tier American league) signed Niko Kranjcar this morning. That's two QPR midfielders who have moved to American clubs since our relegation. SWP is making absolutely no impact at New York Red Bulls (a decent club) and Kranjcar is playing for a team that not even Americans have heard of for the most part. Truly shows how lost we were last year.

Thats a relief. After his recent visit to LR, some were hoping he'd be making a return.

Cosmos are pretty well known to all the american fans I've spoken to, if I'm not mistaken, Pele is something like an Honorary president there and Cantona once had DoF role there or something. They've even had Marcos Senna play there and Raul Gonzales so they've attracted a certain sort I suppose. All the best to him, great guy by all accounts.
