i think uncle tony has tried to claim that the board argued against various retrospectively unpopular signings (rio and bosingwa) and pushed other signings/potential signings that red chap wasn't so keen on (austin, danny ings). sounds very much like selective memory to me, but i'm not itk or anything.

as to whose fault it is... it's a mishmash so far as i can see. some blame could be attached to:

tango and cash - deliberate underinvestment following promotion
warnock - very hit and miss recruitment (which was also the case before tf and co)
hughes and co - seemed to convince board that an overambitious overhaul of the squad was desperately needed
red chap - in the main, very short term driven transfer activity - players to do a job for now, brought in on high wages with little chance of recouping transfer fees

but primarily, the blame has to sit with the board and phil beard - they gave the ok to all the recruitment and all the contracts which don't seem to be sustainable. the tap appeared to be turned off once les f turned up and while many can complain about chris ramsey, i don't see too much wrong with transfer activity under his watch (although i have no idea how much say he had in anything).

Whilst HR was always the wrong man for a club like ours he did give us that day out at Wembley and the best ever experience in my QPR supporting lifetime so for that alone I will always be thankful.

Yes he left us on crap terms but he was always going to walk ( hobble away ) when there was no money left to spend as that was his answer to everything. Lets be honest there are not that many past QPR managers that have ever won anything whilst with us so he one of our better managers on that front regardless if you like him or not.

Yep in a nutshell !!with regards to signings under Ramsey's watch ie Chery Polter Perch would they have made progress without Jimmy Floyd I don't know they wasn't doing it prior to him coming can Ramsey claim Hall after he stated Hall wasn't for now but the future so it could be said his place came about by accident rather than design

I would have got us promoted with that team. Automatic probably.

Really? First of September everyone here thought we have better squad than two years ago. Why aren't you getting us promoted now?

One thing you can't take away from 'Arry is that he did get us promoted - No matter how he did it, we got there...

He also got us relegated and spent a load of dough on average players, bullsh1tting along the way about everything under the sun but hey ho...

Play off final great but was a truly awful manager for us. Didn't much like him before he came to us.

Was horrendous having him here. Ineffectual BS maestro would played to media every given opportunity, jowls going like they had a life of their own talking ######. Football was dire, nothing but excuses and crap, often untrue anecdotes.

Overall I found it differcult and hard.

I am not sure if we disagree or not D. I am just saying that we do not know what went on behind the curtains, and maybe TF and the board decided on transfers and maybe he/they didnīt. Like most on here I see it from the outside, and from out here it looks like he/they was pretty much sitting back and letting the manager and PB do the job for some 3 years, but then got tired of the overspending and brought in LF to be his/their football man.

I am no HR basher by any means, but I do not think his "I donīt know anything about the financials" spiel is very believable. Not worse than MH, though
                        .

They're talking about a coaching role at Derby until the end of the season

Ex-Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is in talks to take on an advisory role at Championship side Derby County.

no I dont think we're disagreeing youv'e said it we're only 2nd guesing whats gone on , for me Klonk summed it up there are so many people that have had a hand in getting us in shlt street , I'm not defending HRs stint at the club but do find that every time his name is mentioned he gets the the blame for others shlt and to me that allows them walk away blameless
