Must say very impressed. First time I really felt connected to the players and club. Fans were awesome I sat in the lower loft for the first time and it was great. I usually sit in the Ellerslie but friend gave us season ticket as he couldn't make. There was a buzz to the players management and fans that I couldn't quite put my finger on it felt like the warlock days and I think something special might happen next season. The players in place are exactly what we called for and with a couple of additions and big money buys GONR we have a squad capable for the FUTURE.
The team yesterday in parts reminded me alot of warlocks league winning team complete spirit and new when to defend and attack as a unit and when the goals went in you can sense the spirit brewing in that team. We let them have the ball when they wanted but new when to spring an attack to hurt them. We battled but had that little bit of quality needed to change the game. Let's be honest neither hoilett of chery were in the game in the first half Brentford defended well but that strike had quality all over it so well done hoilett.

I would personally give hoilett a new three year deal ON reduced and bonus incentive contract. I would sign angella reminds me of gorkks but alot better on the ball bar that dodgy ball across the box!!!.

Chery oozes class and is getting better and better and next season will take this division by storm. He is our Taraabt without the selfishness or attitude and the players seem to love him and really celebrate with him when he scores which was nice to see.

Now there's Polter! Divides opinion WHY I do not know. I must admit when I first saw him at the beginning of the season I thought what the he'll is this!!!! Bambino on ice but I have the pleasure in watching Queens Park rangers management team finally work on a player and improve him immeasurably it's great to see.
His work ethic application and desire is beyond most players I have seen at qpr for some time bar faurlin and hill. His desire for the team and to improve as a player is a credit to him!. I hear people question his pace? Really the guy is rapid full flow I witnessed this on the byline right in front of me!. Now to his game, he gets battered all game closes defenders and keeper down until last minute, his ability to bring the ball down from chest to feet is unbelievable. His holding of the line for his goal showed great awareness and most importantly takes all the flack off hoilett and chery to play there game.
I was having a debate with a fellow supporter, the major part to his game to improve is ability of touch on the ground yes but that will come with training but in my eyes as much as I loved are charlie polter brings more to the team and club for the future then charlie would of. His hold up play team ethic ability in the air and pace is greater than charlie APART from finishing.

Smithies just excellent, perch is that the same James perch that was awful? Maybe just maybe he need time to settle down with a good young manager that we have.

Roll on next season proud ranger here you rsssss

Great post and could not agree more with you about Polter far better player then some give him credit for but a few have decided he's a donkey so that's what he is to them

Charlie Austin had poor first touch was slow and never done much outside the box but he was exceptional at what he was good at. Polter might not be as prolific as Austin but he has more to his game and brings more to the side goals aside

That was what I was saying yesterday love charlie ball leaves his foot it's a goal 9 times out of ten but his around game for the TEAM isn't as good as polter and no matter how many goals charlie got polter seems to have this click with the fans already which is good for his confidence.

I 100% agree with you here mate, especially on Polter's pace. He is really surprisingly fast in full flow when running down the byline and he brings others into the game. His first time passing is really really good and he just knows subconsciously what to do every time.

I like how we are not relying on one goal scoring source (Austin), the goals seemed to be shared about lately. Holiett, Chery, Phillips and Polter all chipping in.

Polter cant fault his attitude workrate and commitment have liked him from day1 and on a
more humorous note he could be the new Ibrahimovich

Good to read that Polter is doing better now.
i think he can score goals as well as play for the team.
Perhaps Perch is playing better because the team as a whole is better organised and drilled than they were under the PE teacher/ youth team coach.

Thought the team played well but not very well.Played with heart though which is all I ask. Poulter still has trouble heading a ball but is so much better with his chest and running off the ball.
Really like it that he always gives his shirt to a younger supporter.
Our BFG will only get better.

i think what we must look at there will be important matches and watching the bfg balloon the ball over the bar will create so much hatred as the fans get full of resentment for his misses even zamora used to get loads of hate for all his misses i can only ever see the german scoring ten goals a season although he could be the greatest ceter half ever seen as he is a man mountain then he could come up for corners and score six goals a season

The stand out thing about going to the game has got to be the progress JFH made to from what he found when he arrived

Fantastic post mate - think you have called it spot on. We certainly have a core of players at the club now that we can build something special on.

JFH deserves credit to as he has stuck to his guns and received a hell of a lot of pelters including from myself. But the transformation of players like hoilett and perch under hum has been amazing. I too see similarities between this squad and warnocks and I hope we build on it. Warnock came in steadied the ship kept us up and then the following season we just kicked on. I can see it happening again with a few shrewd signings.

I really hope we sign Angella as well. I hope we don't revert to Ned as a cb as I think as a Rb at this level he's class and Angella at CB with Hall is the future. The lads only 26 and a great age to sign him.
