Seems to care which is a quality has been missing from a number of our players for some time.
Him in the dressing room probably has a knock on effect to other players.
As already said he has pace.
Need as a fanbase to support him even if he goes through a barren spell...be poor form from us if we turn on him. He looks for the crowd for support and yesterday was a classic when he went off that was the longest departure for a substitution I've witnessed, every time I thought that was it and sat down, Polter would start clapping again and the fans would again start going....
Made a big difference between the two teams.

Really pleased to see him winning people round. Yes he's limited, but getting better all the time and always gives his all.
Hopefully, the more negative amongst us can start to see what the effects of a good manager can be. Fancy working with players to improve them rather than just going out and buying a few more.

Can't help but like the guy. Cult hero for sure.

I rate him and don't get some of the comments saying he can't do this he can't do that as I see him holding ball up and bringing people into the game. He's young, in foreign country, adapting to new style off football and he's doing a grand job so far so give him a chance to settle instead of trying to pick up on his faults. Perch was Sh it a month ago now those slating him are raving about him
Patience is the key and I predict next year he could be the difference between going up and staying down

I love Polter.
Think he's more than capable of scoring 12-18 goals next season. Not the type of striker to bang in a 30 yard screamer or run it around 5/6 players but definitely a fox in the box for me. Has the nack of being in the right place at the right time. As others have pointed out he's still young, moved from a different country and is finding his feet.
Next season he should be that little more settled and can hit the ground running.
