    One good bit of form in 4 years is hardly a good return for your money though is it, that's why people are fussed about getting rid.
    It's clearly logical.
    Of course he has not. However, I am assuming that some on here don't want him even on less money. I do not want him on his current terms!

      So offer him £20k a week (top end of our new wage cap apparently)
      He'll play the waiting game to see if anyone else wants to pay him more and he'll walk if they do. Most footballers are mercenaries.

      If he does agree to stay, that's fine, but we should tell him he needs to maintain his current levels on the pitch.

      He HAS largely been a disappointment, for 3 years, but he HAS also played well occasionally in that time. Let's not forget his contribution at Wembley which brought the club £60/70 Million which more than paid for his 4 year contract with us. What the Club did with that money is not his fault, although, admittedly, on the same logic, we would have offered Zamora a new contract and signed Keogh last Summer !
