  • Hoilett's future

Give him a new contract. He can make the difference.

Only on half his current wage. I suspect he'll wait for a better deal elsewhere. Whether he'll get it, who knows. He's certainly putting himself in the window though.

He is so much better than anyone else.

There's no way he'll sign a new, lower terms contract with us as he'll have lots of suitors in the prem who would want him on a free this summer. Simple as that I'm afraid. If we somehow get promoted the outlook can change though.

Offer him a two year deal on the new wage structure he will reject it.

I hope Hoilett does stay at the club on reduced terms of course, he's playing so much better under JFH and is probably our most consistent player, always looks a threat and is a key part of the team.

His distribution still needs to be worked on.

He's in form yes but these last 3 months don't make up for 3 and a half years of shocking performances. Some people have very short memories.

The only way hoilett should be signed is if we offer him sensible terms.

I've 2 year deal on no more than 15k a week. Maybe just maybe the. It makes sense. If he doesn't like it then move on and find better as there are quite a few decent players out there we could pick up.

One of the most disappointing and incosistent players brought in under the TF era (and that's saying something), I'd be very surprised if he didn't reject any contract we put in front of him. Think his next likely destination is either China or the MLS. Beauty of a goal yesterday mind.

Junior Hoilett, Alejandro Faurlin, Armand Traore, Karl Henry, Samba Diakite, Rob Green, Paul Konchesky, Clint Hill and Oscar Gobern are all out of contract in the summer. I think they'll offer another 1 year deal to Ali, a year deal to Clint in a player/coach role, and bin off the rest.

I agree with the above. I also wouldn't be surprised if Henry gets offered another 1 year deal as a squad player.

No, unless he accepts massively reduced terms (which he wont).
Started to come into form in the last few months of his contract *surprise surprise*

Of that list from Surrey, give Hoilett, Henry and Faurlin new 2 year contracts and we'll be sorted me thinks on them.

Lose Matty and keep Junior imo.

I've come around to the idea of keeping Henry, but again on reduced terms and at his age just a one year extension.
Hill and Faurlin for one year extensions as well.

That goal yesterday is what I have been expecting for the past 4 years, very reminiscent of his Blackburn goals. As many have said, dont expect him to stay however.

I'd give Hill a coach/player role for one year with option to coach only role after. Faurlin I'd give 2 years or 1 year with a club controlled option of extension.
