As said he's no world beater and I'm not saying he's a player for a top 6 champ team but as a squad floater goes he is easily good enough at this level and can be relied on to put a shift in when needed.
Get fed up with ridiculous player bashing, especially ones who fight for every ball and it actually means something to play for QPR to them.

Certainly made me think anyway buddy.

Yeah I agree on that, we know what we're going to get with Mackie and he will probably never be more than just a squad player whereas hopefully Washington can make a better claim on the first team. I'd love us to start playing with two strikers up front but from what we've seen, Chery and Polter make a pretty damn good combination.
Who would have thought though at the start of the season that Polter would go on to become our most effective striker? Funny how the game works but I love Polter so far!

If hard graft and a willingness to die for the cause was the pre-requisite for being a professional footballer we'd probably all qualify to wear the hoops.Despite his limitations, I don't dislike JM, and under certain circumstances, can understand JFH bringing him on to help close down a game when we're 1-0 up and under pressure.
However, IMHO, at 2 or 3 nil up, today was the ideal time to give CW a run out, without him having to be too worried about making a mistake and losing the ball.

Hoilett is on 40 plus k a week and for 3 and a half years has been utter dog.
Mackie got promoted with QPR played for the shirt and actually produced when olaying for us in the top flight. Right now he's a decent squad player who can be relied on when needed. As said nothing more but for some reason is becoming a scapegoat to moan about.
I'm more than fair with my comments and judgment and hoilett is playing well as and I have said fair play.
However he still can't cross a ball to save his life and yes we should be cautious about his up turn in form a few weeks before his deal runs out. Would be careless for the club not to think where has this side of hoilett been for the last 36 months.Last edited by maidstone_hoop; 13-03-2016, 12:20 AM.
