Have I got this wrong I thought we had moved on from the car giant site and our interest now lies over the other side with work reported to start as soon as autumn this year , if so what's this all about ?

I would assume that having us move has all sorts of advantages when you look at the bigger picture as the people working for the London Mayor will. It frees up valuable land in Shepherds Bush with good access to central London and reduces traffic flows in what must be one of the most polluted areas of London while offering the chance to plan traffic better in a regenerated site - air pollution is a big issue for the mayor right now. It will bring variety to a new site, which as people have said above is otherwise likely to be the dull model shiny new development, plus provides a draw to all of those shops and restaurants on site, meaning higher rents and full units for whoever owns and lets the retail units there. The site will be used for more than football - in the summer it may well be a music venue, plus I'm sure we're emphasising all of the community benefits that the club will offer to people not necessarily interested in football.

Possible new ground news

Not quite sure what to make of this. Is it old news or new as it was put on my fb feed an hour ago. Could this be the green light to start property building and then the ground. When the club said a few weeks back that they have acquired a significant amount of land be enough for the housing only or is it big enough for the stadium as well. I know we are at loggerheads with Car giant and they are dead against any of their land going to us for the stadium. But what if the land bought wasn't their land and someone elses. Does anyone know anything?
