This old oak gig is all about CPO,spin, political posturing media posturing and
most of all money and greasing influential peoples hands.
How long this will take who knows and who really cares its just a big game.
If i could have my wish i would prefer a new stadium at Loftus Road but then
pigs might fly.
And before anyone pipes up i still go and only decided to post as nobody really knows
which way this new ground idea will go a training would be good first.

Course they want to make money, they have given enough away,
Who on this forum or thread is under the impression they want to develop the ground and land as a non profit philanthropic venture like the last five years for them at QPR have been?

If OOC wasn't ever an option TF & co wouldn't of come within 100 miles of us. If people think Mendes is bluffing, why don't the club call his bluff? He's in a more powerful position on this than many want to admit.

Don't understand the anti CG rhetoric.
CG obviously got a successful business and simply wants to protect it. Probably wants his statement out to QPR fans to lay a marker down if things turn nasty from either side that CG isn't anti QPR but simply preseving their position.
If TF say raised ST prices by 50% because he said it was in the best interest of the club , fans would be in uproar. It would be perverse to argue those same fans were disloyal to QPR or somehow were fettering the clubs expansion. CG are actually more entitled to complain as QPR are moving onto their patch.
Also last 4 years by TF own admission his reign has been scattered with mistakes including financial waste on a massive scale. If you were sitting as a businessman in OOC and the current QPR board were wandering around after amassing £200m debt and writing off £60m, offering Luke Young £35k p/w ..you're hardly going to fill you with confidence that the same lot are going to make a blistering success of OOC.
All this moving to a new stadium started as a fanfare when TF first arrived, 4 years on the club on and off the pitch are in a worse position. When equivalent clubs like Leicster. Swansea, Norwich have gone from strength to strength we've reversed. TF was so bullish on his arrival Warnock was replaced by MH, championship winning team was disbanded for mercaneries, a 40k stadium was coming didn't matter that we didn't appear to make any attempt to consult those who owned the land and were historic QPR partners...it was so aggressive and bullish tactic but didn't matter as we were flying high and going to grow. It all came crashing down and not through vision but necessity TF had to change with JFH and Sir Les coming in to stabilise and build the club up again the QPR way by cheaper signings with less reliance on mercaneries. If on the pitch and in the boardroom our club accept mistakes were made about how QPR were run, it's not unreasonable for the owner of CG to be entitled to highlight in his view his perceived errors of QPR when dealing with OOC.
I really cannot see the problem with CGs stance.Last edited by TBLOCKRANGER; 12-03-2016, 10:13 AM.

However would disagree they are in powerful position if they were they would not be using tactics they are nor obsessed with us. Most things they have come out with have been and have looked very unprofessional and done on the cheap.
It's silly there is plenty of cake for everyone to eat and get fat on so these public rows (both sides) are bit school ground. Get your heads together and come up with a win win
