This. Shouldn't have come back. Spoilt memories.

Because he plays with his head down and don't look up that's why he runs into dead ends and runs out of pitch more often then not. He has no awareness of his surroundings if he had that he would be decent enough but to late to learn to play with head up

Had he looked up that was an open goal ready to slotted away

Not very good at all but gives it 100% every time he plays. He's not as good as when Warnock signed him though.

couldn't agree more, Mackie's a headless chicken sometimes when running down the line, if we open the gate at the he'd still keep going,

I'll agree with you there Nas Henry and Toszer cant play together both too negative Henry is ok with Faurlin and struggles with Luongo also

Anyone considered that after such a lengthy injury, his fitness & sharpness isn't quite there yet ?

Mackie has always been a very poor player. Some fans mistake running like a headless chicken, putting in the effort granted, as a justifiable reason to be in a team. All he ever does is head down and generally run into players and try to bundle and bobble his way past them. If he succeeds, he usually then runs the ball out of play. Oh and he's missed countless sitters over the years too.... but hey, he runs a lot.

I do apologise but Mackies goals in the championship, goals against City, Liverpool, Swansea etc are not down to being a very poor player. I do not understand how fans don't see what I do, Mackie is a very good footballer

It's playing to the crowd and it can lead to bad unity in the squad if they see one untalented player who just runs without real aim getting applause when they are trying to break down opponents and they get jeers whenever it doesn't go right.

He said something like that to a fan. It sure makes sense to me, he is not a springchicken anymore..

Needs to drop down a weight division so to speak. I mean go back in the formation as his position, could do a job as cover much better then.
