Try to be more of a wing back than a striker now he's been injured so much and is older

He's never been good, so no.

Think he's still unfit from all the injuries, looks far from the player he was for reading last season

He a squad player for me who comes from the bench with 20mins left to run opposition into the ground. He can actually do that it's when he has ball at his feet he's struggles

Should probably be a better rugby player

If there was a comedy prize up for grabs you'd win it hands down.

I'm not disputing he's scored some decent and important goals for us over time, but that doesn't make him a good player. Plenty of people in certain situations or circumstances could score goals.... there were plenty more easy chances he fluffed, but let's ignore those, but either way, that's one element of football, it doesn't make him a "very good player". He is a very clumsy player the way he plays the game and as part of that used to constantly give away utterly needless Free kicks in our final 3rd which caused us issues and cost goals.

Seriously, anyone who really rates him as a player has rose tinted specs on and needs to assess the big picture rather than the energy expelled. On that for what it's worth, him pointlessly charging from the halfway line to close a keeper 40 yards away is doing us absolutely no favours whatsoever, but simply knackering himself out a bit, and ultimately being completely out of position when the keeper naturally kicks the ball. It's not a good thing.... If they are wasting time, it might be different, but he does it for the sake of doing it when never in a million years does it make any difference except some keepers probably slow down their clearance when they see him and think i'll wait and let him waste a little more energy.

Anyone notice Mackie being heavily involved while being a sub with the celebrations of Chery's goal?

                He loves qpr

So do I mate, can I get praise? Only difference between us is I wasn't on the bench to celebrate but I was in the stadium so does that count?

                    He is an expensive mascott.

I was saying similar 4 seasons ago. Was really really p1$$ed ofc when he was bought back in the summer.

Mackie is a poor player. Devon White scored a few goals too.

Or Mackie is just more money. We could literally run a competition and have a different fan sit on the bench every home game and be able to celebrate a goal and we'd save approximately 25k per week as a result as well as having a slightly better bench

Mackie is no world beater but can't believe some of the pelters he's getting.

I think JFH managed him perfectly at the weekend by bringing him on for 20 mins near the end. Easily a championship squad player imo and good enough to play for 20/30 mins when needed and the odd game.

However I also agree Connor should of probably been brought on. Can only think he might of had a niggly injury that maybe we aren't all privy to!!
